Role Overview
Here at Emerald House Associates we work alongside the most prestigious beauty, cosmetic and jewellery houses to design, manufacture and install point of purchase displays in department’s stores and airports throughout the UK.
We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to join the team, this role would be working alongside our Warehouse Manager/Office Operations Manager to assist with running and maintaining our warehouse across two sites.
Key responsibilities:
Maintaining a safe working environment
A key player in the warehouse operations
Basic knowledge of Microsoft office- excel
Liaising with Installations department to co-ordinate jobs and the loading and uploading of vehicles
Ensuring that all vehicles, equipment and unitary are ready and loaded for the installations teams
Implementing and reviewing the warehouse structure and operations
Maintaining Health & Safety in the warehouse and ensuring standards are maintained
Assisting with general maintenance of the premises
Qualifications/Requirements:
Full UK driving and Forklift license
Warehouse experience is essential
Organised and proactive
Effectively planning and managing workload
Good verbal communication skills
Great attention to detail
Must be able to work on own initiative
Reliable and flexible
Enthusiastic and driven
Excellent timekeeping
Great team player
Willing to go that extra mile to provide a great service to the team and clients
EHA may desire to apply for Airport Passes – a CRB check will be required and a clean criminal record is essential
Benefits:
Pay is negotiable based upon experience
Overtime is payable at enhanced rates
20 days holiday per year plus bank holidays
