Paint Shop Prep

Job Purpose

Here at Emerald House Associates we work alongside the most prestigious beauty, cosmetic and jewellery houses to design, manufacture and install point of purchase displays in department stores and airports throughout the UK.

We are currently looking for a Paint Shop Prep to join the team. This role would be working alongside our Warehouse Paint Shop/Manager to assist with running and maintaining the paint shop.

The chosen candidate shall need a very good attention to detail, keen eye for detail organised and proactive.

Key responsibilities:

Maintaining a safe working environment

A key player in the paint shop and part of the overall team

Preping of surfaces ready for spraying

To assist production manager and other paint sprayers where necessary

Work with strict deadlines

Maintaining H&S and ensuring standards are maintained

Assisting with general maintenance of the area

Qualifications/Requirements:

Work to extremely high standard with high attention to detail

Organised and Proactive

Effectively planning/managing workload with excellent timekeeping

Good verbal communication kills and a great team player

Great attention to detail

Enthusiastic and driven to go that extra mile to provide a great service to the team and clients.

Must be able to work on own initiative

Reliable & Flexible

Experience working in an industrial spray environment is preferred but not essential

Benefits:

Pay is negotiable based upon experience

Overtime is payable at enhanced rates

20 days holiday per year plus bank holidays
