Emerald House Associates Celebrates Sustainability Success

EHA is thrilled to be celebrating sustainability success after being awarded a global gold standard for our extensive environmental efforts. This includes receiving recognition from EcoVadis, the world’s largest provider of business sustainability ratings.

As an environmentally conscious company we’ve made significant sustainability investments and implemented numerous new processes, products and eco equipment to help grow our green credentials.

So much so, our eco initiatives have been awarded a coveted Gold EcoVadis Medal. Achieving the gold sustainability rating also places EHA among the top 5 percent of companies assessed by EcoVadis, which has a global network of more than 85,000 rated companies in over 160 countries, spanning over 200 industries.

Our Director Kelly Vickers-Earll is delighted at the award announcement: “We take our responsibility to combat climate change very seriously and are extremely proud of the changes we’ve already achieved in collaboration with our clients, suppliers and employees.

“Everyone at EHA is elated to have achieved this prestigious accolade because there are so few companies that have achieved the gold standard sustainability rating. We are committed to making it our mission to continue to find new ways to minimise our carbon footprint.”

In order to rank so highly, EHA has recently overhauled operations, extensively replaced lighting systems and switched to renewable energy.

On top of this, additional green measures include drastically reducing the amount of packaging used, repurposing/reusing materials and introducing our green coloured biodegradable bubble wrap.

This is alongside sourcing sustainable materials and heavily investing in high-tech machinery such as CNC machines, lasers and a latex printer, which recycles ink further reducing waste.

Achieving the esteemed EcoVadis gold sustainability rating means we have another accolade to our belt which already includes our FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) accreditation, a Carbon Footprint Standard alongside a Safe Contractorcertification and Safe Contractor PQQ silver award.
